GODDESS OF UNITY

This painting was created as a means of healing on all levels and aspects of myself. If it has the power to heal me, I hope it can do the same for you. Many of us are currently undergoing a reprogramming in all our systems.

In my life, timing has always been impeccable. This time, Sister Poison Ivy burned me alive, halting my ceaseless activities. This forced pause made me realize the depth of my love and appreciation for my family—my husband and kids. Without them, even simple tasks like drinking water became impossible, as my arms were swollen and covered in blisters.

I learned how fragile everything is and how quickly the “stable” can change. Sister Ivy appears when I lose control of my power and emotions, especially anger. She becomes a beautiful teacher, offering lessons with love. In embracing gratitude, she strengthens me and brings forth gifts—introducing me to incredible people, revealing real heroes, and aiding in my self-reprogramming, all while providing me with new skin.

With this, I aim to explain the symbols and meanings within this magical artwork. The “Goddess of Unity” unites all worlds and the petals of the flower of life. The round, feminine form evokes a sense of complicity and fullness, enhancing the already beautiful wood carving frame with vibrant colors to invite a healing spirit to the new version of myself and the new Earth.

Throughout the artwork, totem animals and shamanic symbols abound, representing energies I actively engage with. Lions symbolize human powers, self-confidence, and self-love, serving as protectors of the emerging Goddess, both within myself and others. The Moon signifies the legs of the Goddess and the women’s monthly cycle. Additionally, the eye of Universal Harmony and the yin and yang symbol bring balance to the narrative.

In essence, this piece encapsulates my journey of self-discovery, transformation, and the profound lessons learned through embracing gratitude and balance.
