The Eye of Becoming is an original painting from Axis Mundi / Tree of Life by Gamayuna (Ekaterina Abramova), created live at Playa Alchemist Bazaar during Burning Man 2026, in dialogue with music by Miles Jay & Co and Marten Lou.

A rooted tree rises through a luminous golden triangle into a great open eye. A blue star surrounds its golden centre, while flame-like branches reach upwards. Turquoise, deep blue and warm earth colours hold the composition together.

The tree connects the earth beneath us with the world of imagination and possibility above. The eye invites attentive presence: a moment to look inward, recognise what is growing and remain open to becoming. Gold leaf responds to the changing light, carrying the energy of the performance into everyday space.
